Despite the low-ish rating, the MS300 has a decent sound, although softer in highs than even the soft v-moda M80 or Senn Momentum, requiring some EQ to obtain a semblance of hi-fi response. The fact that the response is fairly flat and smooth from the bass through the mids is the good news, but the non-discounted price is too high for this level of sound quality. The MS300 comes with a very small, very slim and stiff zippered case that makes it an ideal portable, as long as sound or isolation aren't critical. I rated durability as average, however the cable is non-detachable and very thin, so it's likely to go bad if yanked hard several times.
