I have bought the 888 two years ago. Clearly, they sound really good for buds. When I got them, I was using EX70s and I felt the 888 were a LOT flatter sounding. Overall, the tone is good, the presence is JUICY, bass had good impact and mids are relatively sweet. These buds are clear, but they always sound a little "congested" in the high-mids.

A good buy if you get a good deal.

IMHO, these are bout 40% better than the "great" 818 which are nearly unbeatable for the price!
