I was looking for a set of headphones that could improve the sound of my IPOD touch. Most notably, the bass is terrible from the IPOD. I'm not too crazy about in-ear headphones and I wanted something that could provide a bit of isolation.
I was originally going to try more audiophile quality headphones, but at the reccomendation of the fellow at the music store, I tried these after testing some $200+ Sennheisers and a few others. I have to say the bass from these is about the best I've heard from an IPOD. Where the drums and bass guitar were once muffled, you can almost feel the impact of the instruments. Mids are fairly clean, but highs are just a little bit sharp for my preference. The phones are comfortable, but I found that I need to pull them off for a few minutes after having them on for a few hours. If you are looking to improve the bass from your IPOD, I highly reccomend these phones. Also, the price wasn't too bad. (about $200 Canadian).
