The EPH-50s are the big brother to the very good value EPH-20s. They're an upgrade in every way, with stronger and lower bass, better clarity, and better detail. Some might find the bass a little too strong, but that can easily be fixed with an equalizer. These headphones work well with rock, dance, and jazz.

One thing i'm not a huge fan of is the large round earpiece. Most in-ear phones let the phones go a little deeper into your ear, which I find more comfortable. I had to use the large earpieces to get a good seal, but once I did the music sounded great.

These are good phones for a bass lover who also enjoys good detail and highs in a portable headphone.
