The EPH-30's are the odd one out in the family of in-ear Yamaha headphones. The highs, clarity, and bass are a significant step down from the EPH-20, and make the music sound muffled.

The comfort of this headphone is good, the lack of a circle of plastic to stop them going into your ear canal and the uneven cord lengths are both good things in my opinion.

Because of the sound quality I can't recommend this headphone, but the others in the range are worth considering.
