The M-100 experience is much better than a glance at my individual statistics. Played flat (no EQ), the M-100 is a good DJ headphone, good for portable use in environments with heavy low frequency sounds, and should be satisfactory for gamers and bassheads who need some extra bass impact. Played with bass reduction EQ, the mids become more hi-fi, and with the still-warm and strong bass plus good treble support, a unique and very satisfying experience for home stereo use. Some reports may categorize the M-100 as primarily a portable, but I disagree, since it's barely usable for around the neck carry when not on the head, and the carrycase is too large (thickness) for all but very large backpacks.
