6.2/10recently went on a headphone buying spree..and saw these in a local UK catalogue shop called argos for £20,the packaging boasts a wide frequency range and comparativly low impedance compared to a lot of headphones, so pretty usefull for portable stuff i thought.....tho i was glad to find out these are nice headphones for hifi use..for not much money! the main point where these phones shine is soundstaging, they have a deep dark sound, that makes music sound recessed into the soundstage, which ive found lacking in a lot of hifi phones,as they tend to sound more neutral, rather than what it would sound like "live"......they also have technics/panasonics XBS system..which usally gives daft over bloated bass...but works quite well in this instance...the treble can be a bit tinny tho..nearly as bad as the sennheiser 515s....but not quite ! a 6db cut in treble helps them enormously...also impressive is the width of the soundstage going well beyond the drivers....if your after a cheap pair of phones that do a good job you could do a lot worse than a pair of these :D
