4.3/10This probably isn't going to be a terribly fair review. My ears have never gotten on with earbuds, I find them uncomfortable, and these are a little less comfortable than average for earbuds. One ear sounds a little louder than the other, but that's probably because of fit issues.
The first thing I notice is it's difficult to position earbuds to get the best sound quality. If you used these while you were moving they would probably move around and get annoying. The pack doesn't include clips or ear guides, which may help with this.
The earphones are very bass heavy, it really dominates the music. On bass heavy music the bass is really too much. The highs are there, but they sound a little shrill, and they're definitely recessed or rolled off. Vocals are present, but are slightly recessed.
I usually listen to a good range of music for my reviews, but I can't stand to keep these in my ears that long. I had a quick listen to pop, rock, jazz, and electronic. They seem pretty similar for all, other than the note that bass heavy music is poor and highs are rolled off.
All in all I don't recommend any earbuds, but if you must get earbuds I don't think these are the best ones around.
Test setup: 256kbps mp3 files, Cyberdrive Clarity DAC feeding into a custom made PPA DAC, comparison headphones Audeze LCD2 headphones.
