These are good earbuds, good performance given the price, and good value. The iPod/iPhone control is a bonus, as is the built in microphone - though we didn't test the microphone.
They have more bass than average for this class of headphone, reasonably low and strong. Mid and vocals are good, reasonably clear, and not muffled. Highs and detail are decent, though they're not the strongest point of the headphone - in headphones this size it's usually a bit of a tradeoff between bass and treble.
