these things are really cool. grado sr-60 drivers thrown into cheapo portable phones.

I like them alot. I gave some to a bunch of freinds and they all love them. I found a stock in an old hifi store and bought a bunch for 25 bucks each. for that money, they are a great deal. for 40 dollars though, i would look elsewhere. there were some QC issues with one that i gave to a freind with one driver cutting in and out. I was able to repair it, but i could see why grado canceled the program after those issues came back.

these basically sound alot like sr-60s but with some resonance blurring the midrange a bit and causing a boost in the bass. overall quite good. they are definitely giant killers, but up against the senneheiser px 100 or koss portapro, I think it would be down to personal preference.

they are really hard to find now (2005) but serve duitifully if well taken care of.
