Not bad cans for $70. When I originally contemplated purchasing them, they were selling street $250 plus. I would have been dissappointed at that price. Bass and performance at "volume" better than my Stax SR40's. Resolution, detail at mids and highs inferior to my AKG K501's, though one third the price. I enjoy metal and blues (SRV) with these cans.
These are professional studio cans , therefore replacement parts are separately available, which appeals to me. My teenage son uses these alot and I don't have to worry about them getting damaged!
If your on a budget, I would recommend these cans.
