I find it hard to write this review, because there's nothing special about these canalphones. The bass doesn't impress me at all, it's not very deep or strong. The midrange sounds funky, but it's hard to describe how - veiled, and I suspect there's a strange frequency response in the midrange. The treble is fine, crisp and well ballanced itself, but with the weak bass and poor midrange it doesn't help.

Comfort wise they're ok, I like them better than iPod earbuds, but not as much as the Sony EX71s, as the plastic seems a little less soft. They come with 3 sizes of rubber sleeves which should suit most people. The cord is a little thin, and has held the shape that it had when packed in its shipping material, but everything works fine.

Because of these shortcomings I can't recommend these canal phones. They may be a small step up from what's included with some cheap radios or mp3 players, but in my opinion there are better value units around.

These headphones were supplied to headphonereviews.org by mpxgroup at no charge. Review units supplied to headphonereviews.org will always be returned to the supplier if return shipping is enclosed.
