I like the bass, I really appreciate them in rock songs as well as some hip hop. The quality is good, there is a good amount there as well. I find them very comfortable, I am very picky when it comes to comfort so it is hard to please me.

Now the bad, there is not real mids nor highs. They are both very thin, and the little that is there does not have great quality. They are very laid back sounding, i would appreciate a little bit more up frontness to it. Poratability, they are huge, I still carry them around the town because they do stay on my head. They do not clamp on to your head that much, the part actually that makes them comfortable hurt them in the isolation department. They improve a little bit with my silverstone EB01 DAC and and with my headroom mini amp but, not enough. I got these for 100 on the internet, they are a downgrade from Ultrasone HFI 770s that I had and also for the Sennheiser 280 Pros. I am keeping them for their comfortability. I would recommend the past mentioned closed headphones
