Made a PiMeta amp once, nothing special. Sometimes I monitor out of my RME Fireface which is known to have good converters, but most of the time I am listening out of my portable player.

I am a music producer & performer. I have produced on a whole mess of studio monitors in the past, so I have some intuitive sense of how things "should" sound. I am an audiophile at home (Martin Logan mains, bass traps & acoustic treatment, etc.)
