I have used various different headphones and consider myself to be an audiophile, with a vast collection of music covering a multitude of genres. I have listened to music with the Beats by Dr. Dre, Sennheiser HD555, Sennheiser HD201, Grado SR 225i, several sorts of earphones, and have been into headphones for a bit over a year now. While not an expert on the subject I do think I have obtained a better understanding than the average person.
