Think of a MS1 in "high res" or a K701 minus soundscape plus Grado emotion, that's exactly the MS Pro.
Sweeeet mids, neutral highs, and a very "audiophile" bass, not very much deep bass though.
Comparable technical qualities can be acquired for half of the price if you buy "european" (DT880, HD650, K701), but those lack a bit fun and sheer genre bandwidth.
The MS Pro is as natural sounding as the Stax creatures, but not as boring. I simply adore it.
